The DPSG is a Catholic children and youth organisation in the diocese of Essen with more than 8000 members. Essen is right in the heart of the metropolitan area Ruhr .
Within the project European Capital of Culture 2010- RUHR.2010 we want to work together with as many European scout organisations as possible, organize cultural exchange and work together with them on social, environmental, political and sociocultural topics.
Our aim is to intensify the international and European scouting network, encourage young people to take over responsibillity for their European citizenship and of course, invite scouts to explore our home with us.
